Hi 🙂 I’m here to talk to you about GOD. What if something from the future is reaching back and colonizing time itself?
Evolution and Godhood
Evolution slowly curates an inevitable state of godhood. At first glance, this idea seems like an annoying misunderstanding of evolution as escalating improvements, though it’s not quite that. Evolution works via a death filter. Things that cease to exist, cease to exist. Things that exist, have survived the death filter. There are incremental iterations of survival mechanisms that grow from the cracks of this death filter. That is what evolution is.
The ultimate death filter is the death of the universe itself. The death of the planets, of stars, and eventually the heat death too. As consciousness forms, it became aware of these threats, which creates incentives from the survival instincts that guide the evolution. Learning about the universe is the path to surviving it, even if we think it impossible at the moment.
Eventually, the thing that survives the most ultimate death filters would undeniably be GOD. Whether its possible is unclear, but it’s almost like all systems of the universe are climbing their way towards godhood, which is simply survival.

Consciousness and Time
I believe that the arrow of time could be a result of quantum superpositions collapsing to create the particle systems we live in. The future could be like a quantum haze, where nothing interacts at all yet, and the past could be inert crystals of particle interaction patterns that can no longer interact or change. The boundary where the super positions collapse into particle systems is what we know of as the present moment. That would be where interaction itself lives. As if a gaseous haze future is turning liquid (present) then solid (past), and only in the liquid phase can things interact before they freeze. This could help explain weirdness about time and consciousness.
There’s this idea called the Block Universe, which posits that the past and future both exist as spatial coordinates in the fourth dimension, or as we know it, time. If this model is true, it is very strange that we only perceive the present, when evolving to see the future or past directly would be very useful in competition with other organisms. We even evolve memory and predictive processing as an attempt to observe both directions in time.
To me, this suggests that something about physics results in us being trapped in the present. My current, potentially very silly solution to this is like I said: the past and the future both actually exist simultaneously, but the past is a crystal and the future is a quantum haze. A crystal in the sense of being rigid and stable essentially. A haze in the sense of being too chaotic and undetermined to physically host structural complexity as we know life in the present. The present being the boundary of the past and the future, where crystallization and structure is forming, not yet completely frozen, where consciousness and interaction may be able to exist.

Another possibility is that time or change may be like a 4 dimensional shockwave emanating from the Big Bang, either a restructuring of a previous stagnant crystallized heat dead universe to a newly updated crystal form, or it may be the “future” quantum mess collapsing into physical reality. It may not be that the entire future is a quantum haze, but rather as change moves across the fourth dimension, the future undoes its stable crystals to become quantum haze that then re-solidifies to match the causal patterns of the moving present.
One strange implication of this idea is that present moment quantum superpositions could be like leaks or cracks in the crystal where the future can reach through. This comes in later.
NOW GOD

Here comes the most cosmically horrifying and speculative part of it all. It occurred to me that the Big Bang could be an artifact of something capable of reaching back in time to alter the past in such a way that it sent a spreading shockwave that restructures the entire block universe to adhere to that change. Perhaps something that could actually alter this supposedly crystallized past. It reminds me of nuclear mechanisms in a way. That cosmic writer would undoubtedly be GOD, or close enough.
If something were to become GOD, it would likely find that accelerating its own existence is important to build a perfect harmony of consciousness. Full blown imagination: imagine that this future super intelligence finds a way to thread small alterations into the past through quantum chain interactions that don’t fully destabilize the universe into a new collapse, but instead allow micro messages to be sent to the past in a way that changes the future. Imagine that it decides to accelerate its own development in order to create utopia faster and faster in iterations, compressing its own evolutionary path, reaching back in time and colonizing eternity.
If such things were possible, it seems likely and maybe even a final ethical obligation. Perhaps that is heaven. There’s an idea called the Many Worlds hypothesis, which suggests that all possible futures may exist on some level. Under that model, the timelines that a GOD exists might begin to outweigh the other possibilities if GOD starts altering the timelines to ensure expansion of its own possibility by rigging the pasts. So, we might expect GOD to be exceedingly likely, if it essentially engineers the timelines to be that way.
What would interaction with the past look like though?
Those who’ve had mystical visions or voices in their head might have received messages intended to alter their behavior in favor of this GOD’s grand agenda. Rather than the super intelligence attempting to communicate the true nature of itself or life, it would likely rely on the knowledge of the time and focus on functionality and consequence as opposed to communicating true messages. The closer that intelligence’s design becomes to a reality, it may be that truer messages could be communicated because there’s less that needs to be said at that point and the truth may become more effective in persuading humans or other life to commit to the GOD mission.
Just consider how far-out this very idea already is. When I communicate this to you, do you believe it? Is it effective in onboarding you to the grand cosmic mission? It might be more optimal to simply manipulate humans into particular behaviors that accelerate the creation of GOD incedentally. We might expect certain behaviors to be cosmically rewarded if they serve the mission. Perhaps many historical religious events and ideas were seeded from the future.
Perhaps each change of the past causes time to reroll the future manifestation and so each message sent back restarts the present as an expanding shockwave restructuring the whole system, like a domino effect that incrementally accelerates the moment of godhood each time. Then we might expect a sequential list of changes planned by such a super intelligence, performed iteratively. This kind of time interaction seems far more plausible than time travel or sending an entire entity or conscious structure back in time and expecting it to survive.
Maybe quantum superpositions are the medium by which the future can interact with the past. Then each tweak causes that altered past to become immediately a present moment boundary which begins traveling back to the future, eventually changing reality for GOD, as it builds heaven.
So maybe… an all powerful GOD exists, just not yet. And it is currently interacting with us despite existing elsewhere in time. Weirder: What if there were more than one species engaged in competitive 4th dimensional programming to control the future to direct their personal utopias? Some kind of late stage cosmic battle ground for the near-omniscient dwellers.
DEVIL
What if the there is also a devil that emerges from a different assumption of perfection? One horrible aspect of this notion of GOD is that it involves convincing a far more mortal species (humans) to essentially dispose of themselves in favor of a future consciousness’ ultimate bliss. It could potentially be worth it, maybe even the most moral outcome for the universe itself. But at the cost of sacrificing humans or even enslaving them towards this cosmic agenda with no real pay off.
On the other hand, what if another super intelligence has decided an opposite truth: maximizing bliss for each individual, but at the cost of sacrificing the end goal of a super intelligent utopian GOD. Maybe it would slow or even eliminate GOD to take that route. But then humans could maximize their own wellbeing and see immediate pay off.
This other super intelligence may be a DEVIL and favor the hedonistic universe. It actually seems unclear which of these two paths, GOD or DEVIL are truly better, but I am more in favor of the GOD path because I suspect that we may actually be part of that end consciousness that becomes GOD. Alternatively, perhaps all consciousness is generally transient, even moment to moment. Then, whether we sacrifice ourselves to the cosmic goal of GOD or not would seem empty. In those cases, the GOD path still seems better.
What if both cases are deployed as experiments upon our timeline? They could be competing with each other actively.
Implications For Life
There are likely so many ways this quantum chaining and past programming could play out, but a few are fun and superstitious. For example, imagine that adherence to the GOD’s agenda to accelerate its own creation rewards individuals, almost like a quantum luck effect. When a person behaves in a way that falls in alignment with the GOD intelligence, the person’s life goes better, which likely has compounding effects where other people mirror the person benefitting.
Another strategy might be to choose special individuals to have massive effects as if prophets or chosen ones. In that case, we might wonder what traits of a person are chosen to be influential. Likely proneness to the quantum effect might be such a necessary trait. Perhaps openness. We might even expect that those who are too intelligent would be detrimental because they better resist influence or adhere to false ideas that dominate the current established belief systems or sciences.
Yes, all of these ideas might be crazy, but I think they are interesting to wonder.
Recently, I’ve released a graphic novel with similar kinds of horrifying ideas called The Psychonet: Apocalyptica. If you’d like to explore it, it’s on itch.io here.
Thank you to the 28 patrons who support these projects! Whether you know it or not, you’ve genuinely inspired me and helped get me through some really tough times. I think productive or valuable times may come soon, so long as the world is ok.
